Blind Spot Music returns with the amazing Valk EP from the Los Angeles based Raíz; the duo behind much of Droid Behavior`s activity, Vangelis and Vidal Vargas. As producers Vangelis and Vidal have released tracks and remixes under various aliases (most notably Acid Circus and Raíz) on the Droid Recordings imprint as well as respected labels Historia Y Violencia, Tora Tora Tora, Music Man, Enemy and Timefog. Their music has been charted, played and supported by Richie Hawtin, Speedy J, Chris Liebing, Ellen Allien, Adam Beyer, Jonas
Kopp...etc.

The original track Valk is deep, atmospheric while so powerful and irresistibly entices us to the dancefloor. For the remix duties we picked up some of our favorite producers from the different segments of the Techno to translate Valk to their own "language".

D. Carbone contributed the first version that builds up nicely and takes us to a travel around the world of Techno. D Carbone in the past couple of years has achieved popular releases on iconic imprints like Dubfires's SCI+TEC, Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics, Alan Fitzpatricks's 8 Sided Dice to mention a few .

The second remix is a groovy one with emerging deeper elements that force you to dance. It's rearranged by Jason Fernandes and Hugo Paixao, one of most talented rising stars of the Techno scene. They made their names very quickly in the past year with their quality releases and the
Skyline Type Grooves label that they run together with the legendary Cisco Ferreira aka The Advent.

Driving Forces Recordings boss Sutter Cane and Blind Spot's very own Dr Hoffmann joined forces for the third remix. It's without doubt the darkest track of the EP and truly reflects their musical tastes.

And as always let the music do the talking.
